ServiceNow SecOps Developer / Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced ServiceNow SecOps Developer to join a dynamic team in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing on the ServiceNow platform, particularly within Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR) modules.

This role involves developing, customizing, and integrating ServiceNow applications and workflows while collaborating with stakeholders to design scalable and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ServiceNow applications and integrations from concept to deployment

• Configure and customize ServiceNow SecOps modules, including:

  • Security Incident Response (SIR)

  • Vulnerability Response (VR)

• Build workflows, scripts, and automation to enhance and streamline business processes

• Translate business requirements into technical designs and architectural solutions

• Ensure high code quality, performance, and reusability

• Support test automation, deployment, and continuous improvement

• Solve complex technical problems in a dynamic Agile environment

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Required Experience

✔ 8–10 years of overall IT experience
✔ Minimum 5 years of ServiceNow application development experience
✔ 3–5 years experience with ServiceNow SecOps modules (SIR, Vulnerability Response)
✔ Expertise in ServiceNow platform capabilities and architecture
✔ Experience with ServiceNow platform-level configuration and development

Technical Skills

• JavaScript / ES5

• HTML, CSS / SCSS

• SQL

• Experience with web services and protocols (REST, SOAP, WSDL, XML)

• Understanding of service-oriented architecture and application architecture

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS or React (preferred)

• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and design patterns

Methodologies & Tools

• Agile / Scrum development methodologies

• ServiceNow platform development and customization

• Web application architecture and integration

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ ServiceNow Administrator Certification
⭐ Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist – SIR or Vulnerability Response
⭐ Experience leading small technical teams or project initiatives
