Over het werk
As an orbital welding operator, you will work with various advanced welding processes and contribute to the production of high-quality stainless steel assemblies. Based on technical drawings and production planning, you will independently carry out work orders while ensuring precision and quality throughout the entire process.
In this role, you will prepare and process components, perform orbital and TIG welding activities, and work with technologies such as laser welding and laser marking. You will manufacture and assemble stainless steel hoses, couplings, bends, and other complex components using orbital welding heads, welding robots, and manual manipulators.
You will also be responsible for performing helium leak tests and final quality inspections to ensure all products meet the highest industry standards. In addition, you will set up and adjust machines when required and carry out first-line maintenance to support a smooth and efficient production process.
Besides the hands-on technical work, you will complete work orders digitally within the system and contribute to the development and improvement of new products and production methods. Sharing technical knowledge with colleagues and supporting team members where needed is also an important part of the role.
This is a specialized position where craftsmanship, technical expertise, precision, and quality come together within a modern high-tech production environment.
Wat wij bieden
- After an initial period through the employment agency, there is the possibility of a direct contract with the client
- Gross monthly salary between € 2.800 and € 3.475 depending on experience and education
- Shift allowance of 13,3% when working in a two-shift schedule
- Excellent secondary employment conditions according to the Metalektro CAO, including: 27 vacation days
Wat wij vragen
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good command of Dutch and/or English
- Minimum mbo level 2 technical education or proven experience in metalworking
- Experience with orbital welding is a plus
